Working hours: 37.5 hours per week Mon-Fri

Working alongside the full Marketing & Professional Affairs team to ensure efficient operation of key department processes including approvals, data reporting, Showpad, Marketing Hub, New Product Development/Campaign launches and external comms dispatch. This is an exceptionally broad role that will have exposure to a wide scope of cross functional projects to support the Director of Marketing & Professional Affairs and SMT (Senior Marketing Team) in the execution of projects and activity.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities

  • Coordinate MDR approvals process – ensure process is clear and updated for all team members, create and update workflow and support approvers with administration and reporting.
  • Responsible for UK&I product performance dashboard – refresh data and add first level commentary in coordination with Product Marketing Specialists. Work alongside UK business analyst to deliver bespoke reporting when required.
  • Responsible for Showpad tool administration and reporting alongside Customer Marketing Manager.
  • Co-ordination of category and competitor insights to create monthly report.
  • Key support function on New Product Development (NPD) launches & campaigns – management and updating of project timelines and support to NPD/Campaign lead.
  • Manage marketing hub including working with agency to keep processes updated, manage inventory and communicate to sales team.
  • Responsible for all comms dispatch management working alongside the team member leading a project.
  • Work in conjunction with the Product Marketing Manager to manage internal use of master brand across UK&I.
  • Liaise with Head of Customer Services and Global F&PA Controller to ensure cross department alignment on all systems projects and related comms e.g. Oracle updates and changes to systems such as CV Pro and ecommerce.
  • Support the Director of Marketing & Professional Affairs in key commercial projects.
  • Contribute to the smooth operations of the department, from time to time working with any team member to provide support and resource across larger projects.

About you

Experience required

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a commercial role (sales/marketing/project management).
  • Experience in planning and execution of a commercial project(s) an advantage.
  • Experience in the optical industry a plus but not essential.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to confidently communicate and deliver information to a wider audience.
  • Process driven individual with the ability to prioritise and manage workload.
  • An intuitive and inquisitive marketing mind, able to seek out and identify best-practice and adapt it to create step-change in business performance.
  • Fast learner with the flexibility to work across multiple projects/work streams.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Good working understanding of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Advanced Excel experience an advantage.
