Job Summary – What to Expect:
As a Level 1 Warehouse Operator in our UK Distribution department, you will carry out basic processes such as Picking, Packstation Scanning, and Cycle Counting in accordance with company procedures and systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working on processes including Picking, Packstation Scanning, Pre‑Sort, Machine Over‑Labelling, Fitting Set Production, Receiving, Put Away, Replenishment, Assisting Re‑Work, and Cycle Counting.
- Complying with health and safety regulations and safe use of equipment (machinery, lift truck, manual handling equipment).
- Correctly applying company systems in a specific defined area.
- Suggesting limited continuous improvement initiatives where relevant.
- Limited involvement in investigating and resolving issues in an assigned area, communicating where necessary to the Team Leader or Senior Operator to ensure minimum disruption and maximum service levels.
You will work under tight instructions and supervision of a trainer, a more senior operator, or a supervisor.
About You:

- A good standard of English and Maths.
This position does not require prior experience as a DC operator or detailed knowledge of processes. A basic knowledge of a limited set of processes can be useful but is not essential.
Work Environment:
- Large open‑plan warehouse/factory building.
- All necessary personal protective equipment must be worn.
- Lifting up to approximately 25 kg; some components may be heavier.
- Working at heights required.
- Constant background noise from machinery.
- Temperature fluctuations due to seasonal variations.
- Periods of prolonged standing.
