Job Summary
As Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you’ll be responsible for managing all recruitment activity across CooperVision’s commercial, manufacturing and operational functions. You’ll define recruitment strategies, utilizing and maximizing all avenues to attract high quality candidates, whilst managing internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be an expert in the full end to end process and have a strong focus on candidate and hiring manager experience.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities
- Manage the full life cycle recruitment activities including intake meetings, sourcing, engaging, working with agencies/partners, screening, interviewing, feedback meetings with managers, offers
- Proactively provide support to hiring managers regarding the recruitment process
- Partner with hiring managers with recruitment campaigns by offering guidance on the appropriate recruitment processes and the writing of job descriptions
- Manage vacancies and candidates through our ATS (Oracle) recruitment system
- Taking responsibility for providing effective communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring the candidate experience is maximized at every opportunity.
- Ensure feedback to candidates following assessment or interview is provided as required.
- Provide training to managers on our recruitment process and interview skills.
- Administer assessments for candidates where appropriate by either running in house testing sessions or sending online assessments directly to candidates. Processing and sharing results with hiring managers making recommendations on the results.
- Manage third party relationships such as agencies and assessment providers when required
- Effectively work towards internal Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements.
- Providing data report and insights on recruitment related activities
Experience/Education:
- Proven experience within Recruitment/TA, preferably within a global matrix organization
- Internal TA recruitment and/or agency experience.
- Experience of strong stakeholder influencing capabilities and relationship building
- Experience of using Microsoft packages including Outlook, Teams and Excel
- Knowledge of ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and/or HRIS platforms would be desirable.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent sourcing skills with ability to source candidates outside of typical methods
- Strong interviewing skills
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively at all levels
- Pro-active and able to use initiative to develop solutions
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility and a willingness to learn
- Ability to travel to other UK sites within Southampton area when needed
