The Organisational Change Manager & Internal Communications Specialist is accountable for leading the people, adoption, and communication aspects of change across Global Supply Chain’s portfolio of global, cross‑functional initiatives. The role operates as an integrated capability within the GSC PMO, ensuring that organisational change management and internal communications are planned, aligned, and executed cohesively to enable successful project delivery, adoption, and value realisation.

Working in close partnership with programme and project managers, functional leaders, and regional stakeholders, the role ensures change impacts are understood, stakeholder engagement is effective, and communications actively support behaviour change and sustained adoption across regions and functions.

Job Summary: The Organisational Change Manager & Internal Communications Specialist supports the successful delivery of complex global initiatives by embedding structured change management and targeted internal communications practices within the GSC PMO. The role is responsible for developing and executing integrated change and communication strategies that align with project milestones and portfolio priorities. By proactively identifying adoption risks, coordinating messaging, and supporting leadership alignment, the role enables clarity, engagement, and readiness for change, while reducing change fatigue and misalignment across the organisation.

This position plays a critical role in strengthening change and communication maturity, enhancing governance insight, and improving return on investment from strategic initiatives within Global Supply Chain.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
  • Change Strategy & Impact Management: Assess organisational, functional, and regional change impacts across global initiatives. Define and implement change management strategies aligned to project and portfolio objectives. Identify, monitor, and mitigate adoption, readiness, and engagement risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership Alignment: Identify and manage key stakeholders across functions, geographies, and organisational levels. Support leaders and sponsors with clear change narratives, engagement plans, and sponsorship actions. Build alignment between global solution design and local implementation and adoption requirements.
  • Internal Communications & Messaging: Develop and deliver clear, consistent, and timely internal communications aligned to project milestones. Tailor messaging to different audiences, regions, and levels of change impact. Coordinate communications across the project portfolio to reduce noise, duplication, and confusion.
  • Adoption, Readiness & Transition to Business as Usual: Define and track change readiness, adoption, and engagement measures. Support training, reinforcement, and transition activities to enable sustained ways of working. Ensure effective handover of change ownership to operational and functional teams.
  • PMO Integration & Governance: Embed change management and communication activities into PMO frameworks, standards, and delivery routines. Provide change readiness, engagement, and communication effectiveness insights to portfolio and executive governance forums. Develop and maintain tools, templates, and best practices to build organisational change and communication capability.

Travel Requirements: Domestic and International travel – up to 20%

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior and executive levels.
  • Ability to translate complex change into clear, actionable messages.
  • Analytical mindset with experience measuring adoption, readiness, and engagement.
  • High level of collaboration, resilience, and adaptability in fast paced environments.

Work Environment: Normal office environment. Extensive contact with employees and internal business partners.

Experience and Education:
  • Over four years of demonstrated experience in leading organizational change management for complex, global, cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Strong background in internal communications within a large, matrixed organisation.
  • Experience working within or closely with a Project or Programme Management Office.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently in a global environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Human Resources, Change Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Change management certification (e.g. Prosci, APMG, or equivalent) preferred.
