In this role you act as a strategic financial partner for the EMEA Distribution leadership, guiding performance, forecasting, and planning across multiple sites. You will lead a regional finance team and influence senior stakeholders to drive cost efficiency while preserving service. You’ll work in a matrix environment within global distribution finance, shaping strategy and providing actionable insights. This is a high-visibility position that supports growth and operational excellence across 1,100 distribution employees.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to global distribution finance strategy and support regional senior leadership
- Provide insight to commercial colleagues on distribution activities and align with business objectives
- Lead and coach the regional finance team delivering standardized, actionable information
- Oversee annual budget process and quarterly forecasts across multiple sites
- Coordinate Long Range Strategic Financial Planning across sites
- Drive monthly close timeliness and quality with comprehensive reports and management reviews
- Manage fixed assets and capital investments reporting per policy
- Oversee inventory strategy and plans across locations
- Lead cross-functional ad-hoc projects to support decision-making
- Maintain controls with internal and external auditors across multiple sites and ACE region
- Ensure effective cost controls while maintaining customer service excellence
- Travel to sites as required
- Work in a multicultural, multilingual, matrix-structured environment
Key requirements
- Direct, hands-on experience with actuals, forecasts, and budgets
- Ability to influence senior leadership and manage across a large, multinational distribution network
- Broad technical accounting expertise; knowledge of US GAAP SOX preferred
- Proven capability to analyze variances and explain drivers clearly
- Experience in managing a regional finance team across multiple countries (UK, Belgium, Hungary)
- Qualified Accountant or University Degree in Finance
- Minimum 10 years of experience
