You will mentor others, ensure regulatory documentation and validation are in place, and actively contribute to ambitious global packaging goals at CooperVision. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li 25 days holiday /li li pension scheme /li li healthcare cover /li li life assurance /li li Wellness Platform for mental health and wellbeing /li li discounted contact lens scheme /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Appraise, specify, develop, commission and test new and existing production automated systems and equipment /li li Lead the selection of automated equipment, vendors and development of the best vendors to meet business requirements /li li Project Manager for global projects to design, deliver and implement new technology that meets time, cost and quality targets /li li Conduct equipment and process safety compliance assessments, capability studies and validation/verification programs per FDA and medical device requirements /li li Manage high-complexity projects including budgets and internal/external resources /li li Participate in global multi-functional project teams as an expert/module leader /li li Mentor technical staff, supporting development and career progression /li li Approve and manage technical content of design history files and regulatory documentation /li li Lead Design Review Process and FMEA for projects where appropriate /li li Lead management meetings and project reporting /li li Support Global Packaging and Distribution - Technical forums as required /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Extensive demonstrable Project Management experience /li li Strong background in packaging automation, manufacturing processes, distribution methods, product coding, printing and verification processes /li li Experience with FDA/medical packaging regulations and protocols /li li Excellent understanding of packaging operations, production lines and equipment /li li Excellent understanding of distribution environments and testing /li li Knowledge of contact lens industry (preferred) /li li Strong Process engineering background /li li Good analytical and problem solving skills /li li 8+ years’ experience in a relevant automated industry /li /ul ul li strong communication and presentation skills /li li ability to lead global multi-discipline teams /li li travel readiness (domestic and international) /li li packaging automation /li li automation equipment selection /li li validation/verification /li /ul
