Manufacturing Operator in Falmouth

The Operator is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of production activities and comfortably support and train out an entire product line within the Capital Fertility Equipment Portfolio at Falmouth. This will be done in accordance with Production Orders, routings, and approved Work Instructions.

The role requires consistent application of quality standards, effective time management, and the ability to identify and elevate process or quality issues.

Onsite: Falmouth

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently complete production and assembly activities for capital equipment used in the IVF sector.
• Manufacture products according to approved Production Orders, routings, and Work Instructions.
• Support, operate, and become proficient across an entire product line within the Capital Fertility Equipment Portfolio.
• Maintain high standards of quality in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment.
• Follow established procedures, processes, and work instructions precisely and consistently.
• Perform assembly, testing, and production tasks while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor product quality and identify any defects, deviations, or process issues.
• Escalate quality, safety, or manufacturing concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Ensure all production documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Manage workload effectively to meet production schedules and delivery targets.
• Participate in training activities and continuously develop product and process knowledge.
• Support the training and onboarding of colleagues on production processes and product lines when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment in accordance with company standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, efficiency, and manufacturing performance.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth production operations and business objectives are achieved.

Qualifications

Experience: Typically, 6–18 months manufacturing experience, or equivalent demonstrated competence.

Education: Secondary school education or equivalent

• Technical assembly experience preferred
• Good manual dexterity and practical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow written instructions accurately
• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Basic computer literacy essential

The good faith estimate of the salary range for this role is 24.000 to 26.500 Punds pr. Annum. The actual amount offered is determined by a number of factors including but not limited to location, skills and experience.
