Interior Design Assistant in Surrey

Job Description Interior Design Assistant /n Walton on Thames - Surrey /n (DOE) /n Part -time | /n About Us: /n We are a bespoke design and build construction company specialising in high-end residential and commercial projects. Our team is passionate about crafting beautiful, functional spaces that combine architectural integrity with exceptional interior detailing. As our portfolio grows, we’re looking for a creative and organised Interior Design Assistant to join our team. /n About the Role: /n This is a hands-on, varied role where you'll support and work closely with our head designer and project manager across multiple live projects – from initial concept through to final installation. You'll have the opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of the design and build process in a fast-paced, detail-oriented studio. /n Key Responsibilities: /n /n - Assist in creating mood boards, concept designs, and sample presentations /n - Support in space planning, FF&E selection, and producing detailed specification schedules /n - Prepare for client presentations and internal design reviews /n - Prepare CAD drawings, layouts, and visual aids using design software /n - Research and source furniture, finishes, fixtures, and materials /n - Carry out site visits with head designer and assist with on-site styling and installation days /n - Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and consultants /n - Assist with documenting project progress for our social media team /n /n Requirements: /n /n - Strong Interior Design knowledge or relevant experience in the industry /n - Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign) /n - Knowledge of SketchUp or 3D visualisation tools is preferred /n - Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail /n - A proactive mindset and the ability to multitask in a team environment /n - A full UK driving licence (essential for site visit) /n - Knowledge of Programma preferred but not a requirement /n /n Why Join Us? /n This is a fantastic opportunity to build your experience in a high-end design and build studio.
