The role: We are currently working exclusively with a successful specialist banking business in Cardiff. Reporting to Head of IT, the role of Project Manager (Change Innovation Lead) will lead the bank's change agenda, ensuring the successful delivery of business critical initiatives, operational improvements, and technology transformation.
The role provides end-to-end oversight of change across the business, embedding governance, driving innovation (including AI), and ensuring business readiness and continuity.
Further responsibilities include:
- Oversee the delivery of key programmes and projects
- Own and maintain the enterprise change framework, ensuring consistent delivery in line with project plans
- Provide central oversight of all change activity, including strategic transformation and operational improvements
- Chair and/or support governance forums ensuring initiative prioritisation, capacity management, and risk mitigation
- Ensure all change activity is aligned to business strategy and risk appetite
- Lead the identification and implementation of innovation initiatives with a firm focus on AI automation
- Strong oversight of the bank's testing programme in partnership with Head of IT and Head of Customer Services
