This position will be responsible for establishing UK independent optical groups and practices to launch Diffusion Optics Technology (DOT) spectacle lenses, with the support of a cross-functional project team. The role is part of a small and nimble team and requires flexibility of approach and strong communication skills. This exciting position offers the opportunity to own and build something new; it will be responsible for establishing Diffusion Optics Technology (DOT) in the UK through a targeted rollout model, with the support of a cross-functional project team.

Responsibilities
  • You will lead UK market activation of DOT, to include:
  • Managing a targeted launch of DOT with customers at both head office and store level
  • Identifying and supporting a group of independent ECPs to list and begin prescribing DOT
  • Partnering with Medical Affairs team to deliver product education to target customers
  • Engaging with marketing team to develop and deliver customer marketing plans that support store activation
  • Working closely with Customer Service & Lens Supply Manager to ensure smooth service experience
  • Maintain consistent customer engagement and support to ensure launch success with support from project team
  • Work with project team members to ensure on-going analysis, review and refinement to maximise success

The role involves frequent travel within the UK for customer meetings.

Qualifications
  • Experience:
  • Extensive sales / commercial experience (5+ years)
  • Strong optical industry knowledge and experience
  • Ophthalmic lens experience (Preferred)
  • Myopia Management experience (Preferred)
  • An established UK optometry network (preferred)
  • New business generation (Preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; capable of working collaboratively with a broad range of customers and a within a multi-functional team
  • Willingness to work independently in a remote environment
  • Exceptional account management skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • A high level of resilience
  • Ability to rapidly switch between planning and execution
Education:
  • Relevant Bachelors degree or equivalent
