Working hours: Mon – Fri 37.5 hours a week

Job summary – What to expect: This role is an entry level position which is critical to ensuring that product complaints, including device deficiencies, defects, and adverse medical events, are accurately recorded, assessed, and managed in compliance with current regulatory requirements. Supporting CooperVision’s Medical Monitor, the role helps maintain high standards of quality, customer care, and regulatory compliance while protecting the company’s reputation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Receive complaint (adverse event or device deficiency) information from all R&D studies after review by Medical Monitor. Once received, enter complaint information in the quality system.
  • Evaluate submitted product complaint forms to determine if further information is required.
  • Act as a liaison between CooperVision and the complainant, whether it is a contract research organization or site, to ensure completeness of data.
  • Update complaint records as necessary for any newly received or revised details.
  • Prepare medical complaint summaries and trend report analysis of R&D complaints for review.
  • Act as a technical resource to department management on R&D complaint trends as related to possible quality problems.
  • Interact with Global RA, Legal and CooperVision Quality departments regarding product complaint (adverse event or device deficiency) activities as applicable.
  • Maintain current knowledge of technical information on CooperVision products.
  • Fully understand patient compliance to proper lens care and handling.
  • Carry out any other required technical information or service deemed necessary by management.

About you: We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong mathematic/analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail orientated with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and maintain a high level of organization.
  • Microsoft Office Suite required including proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Electronic Management System experience required.
  • Agile experience is a plus.

Experience & Education:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a Quality or Customer Service role.
  • Minimum one year in the eye care industry preferred.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in applied science or related field.
