About the role...

If you've successfully led business change within a SAP environment, know how to win over sceptical stakeholders, and can turn transformation plans into real adoption across a business, this could be the role for you.

You will need to be able to be in the office near Reading 3 days per week, supported through paid expenses and options to stay over.

Cooper Parry is partnering with a major digital transformation client delivering on a significant SAP S/4HANA programme.

They're looking for a Business Change Manager over a 12-month FTC to take ownership of change delivery across the Finance domain, ensuring people are engaged, prepared and ready to embrace new ways of working.

You'll sit within the wider Change Programme team, acting as the key link between the programme and the Finance function.

Your focus will be simple: make sure the business is ready for change and that SAP S/4HANA is successfully adopted across the organisation.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading change management activity across the Finance domain.
  • Assessing business impacts and shaping practical change plans.
  • Working closely with Domain Leads and Change Champions to drive engagement and adoption.
  • Creating clear, compelling communications that explain what's changing, why it matters and what's expected.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Identifying resistance early and working collaboratively to overcome challenges.
  • Supporting training needs analysis and helping ensure users are equipped for go-live.
  • Monitoring business readiness and taking action where risks or adoption gaps emerge.
  • Acting as the voice of the business within the programme and the voice of the programme within the business.
  • Partnering with leadership teams to reinforce new behaviours and ways of working.

About you...

We're not looking for theory. We're looking for someone who has been there and done it.

You'll bring

  • 5–10 years' experience in Business Change, Organisational Change or Transformation roles.
  • Proven experience working on SAP programmes, ideally SAP S/4HANA.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to engage senior leaders.
  • Experience driving adoption and behavioural change within complex organisations.
  • A hands-on, pragmatic approach to delivering change.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • The ability to build trust, challenge constructively and bring people with you.
  • Eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC)
  • Able to travel to the South West three days per week

Ideally you'll also have

  • Experience supporting Finance transformation programmes.
  • Understanding of Finance processes and how SAP impacts Finance teams.
  • Experience working within large-scale digital or ERP transformation programmes.

About us...

This is a chance to play a key role in a major SAP S/4HANA transformation programme where your work will directly influence business readiness, adoption and long-term success.

You'll work alongside experienced transformation professionals, engage with senior stakeholders and help shape how a complex organisation navigates change.
