We are looking for a Corporate Tax Manager to join our awesome tax team, who has a real focus on building on their tax knowledge and experience to help deliver a robust & tax efficient service to help clients meet their wider objectives.
About you... As our next Corporate Tax Manager, you will look after a portfolio of clients to deliver both compliance and advisory services whilst providing a “wow!” experience, removing the jargon and ensuring a stellar first-rate service. You will be the main tax contact for many of your clients, whilst working closely with our senior team on others. You’ll get stuck into a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities, including:
- Manage a portfolio of business tax clients within your relevant specialism, including reviewing tax returns, computations, and tax accounting disclosures.
- Signing out tax returns for more complex clients working independently from the director or partner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact for all tax matters collaborating to address any tax related queries or concerns.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on a range of business tax issues, including corporate tax planning, restructuring, and compliance.
- Assist with tax investigations and disputes, liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
- Work closely with other departments within the firm, building your internal network, such as with audit and advisory to provide a seamless service to clients.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell services to existing clients and generating new business leads.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of our ways of working within the firm alongside other members of the manager group.
- Spend time with more junior members of the team coaching and supporting with their technical development.
