Payroll Assistant role at Cooper Parry. Our incredible Payroll team are on the lookout for an experienced and talented individual to join them as they embark on their next phase of growth.

As a Payroll Team Member, you will be supporting the team to ensure payrolls are processed accurately and efficiently in line with client deadlines – preparing salaries, processing auto-enrolment, and completing statutory calculations and cost reconciliations for multiple payrolls. We’re a national team, giving you the flexibility to work from any of our UK hubs. Travel to an office is required once a week.

Responsibilities

  • Process payrolls accurately and to deadlines (preparing salaries, processing auto-enrolment, and completing statutory calculations and cost reconciliations) for multiple payrolls.
  • Support the Payroll team to ensure payrolls are processed efficiently and liaise with other departments, stakeholders and external clients.
  • Oversee a team and support the implementation of new processes and procedures.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years’ experience working in a payroll environment
  • Experience with Paycircle is preferred, or experience with multiple payroll software
  • Ideally have experience of working within a professional services firm
