This position sits in the Financial Reporting team within the Regional Finance Operations Team based in North Lanarkshire. The role plays a central part in delivering accurate accounting, compliance, and reporting. The team is responsible for managing all month-end close activities, balance sheet reviews & compliance, audit support and monthly reporting to Group HQ in the EU.
Key Activities
- Support all month-end close activities including journals entries, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting & analytics across all entities.
- Create Intercompany month-end adjustments and recharges ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Prepare monthly business analysis on account movements and support the preparation of the group & commercial reporting packs.
- Assist the cash team with adhoc bank tasks and payment approvals as required.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Support other business support activities and ad hoc analysis for the wider Controllership and Commercial Finance teams.
- Drive improvements in identifying areas to standardise, streamline, and enhance existing reporting processes across the wider finance group.

Your Background
- Qualified accountant (ICAS, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with five years post-qualification experience.
- Relevant experience in financial accounting preferably gained in medium to large multi-national companies.
- High level of computer literacy including advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
- High standards of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
