Business Services & Outsourcing Senior Manager in Manchester

We’re on the hunt for a dynamic Senior Manager to join our growing BS&O Mid-Market team. This isn’t your average accounting role; you’ll be at the forefront of shaping our go-to-market strategy, delivering high-impact work, and helping fast-growing businesses thrive. You’ll lead the charge in expanding our Accounts and Financial Reporting (AFR) offering, working with a diverse portfolio of clients and collaborating across our UK offices. About The Day To Day

• You will be playing a key role in our go-to-market strategy for Mid-Market businesses, growing our AFR client base across the UK.
• Identifying and converting opportunities to sell work to new and existing clients.
• Leading the delivery of AFR work for a portfolio of audited clients (both CP and external audits), supported by Managers and Assistant Managers.
• Acting as the central point of contact for internal referrals, allocating work and driving growth through your internal network.
• Working with a variety of clients including PE/VC-backed scale-ups, UK subsidiaries of overseas groups, complex private companies, and large UK corporates.
• Completing technical reviews of FRS 102, FRS 101, and consolidated IFRS statutory accounts.
• Supporting the BS&O team with technical queries, researching complex areas, and coaching the team to ensure CP policy is followed.
• Overseeing value-add technical projects like FRS 102 to IFRS conversions, long‑term contract accounting, share‑based payments, and group reconstructions.
• Supporting the non‑audited statutory accounts process as part of the management team.
