A day in the life of our Enterprise Architect…
Responsibilities
- Full technical ownership of the CP Core Platform built around Salesforce, including Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud Growth, Certinia (Financial Force), Tableau, Mulesoft and AgentForce
- Managing day‑to‑day maintenance and updates across the Salesforce platform including custom objects, fields, workflows and validation rules
- Leading the design, development and delivery of our Integration Strategy, working with line‑of‑business system vendors to exploit API capabilities to drive automation and data quality improvements
- Working with the business to identify process improvement / automation opportunities and building these into our delivery roadmap (continuous improvement)
- Developing and maintaining architectural standards and best practices for Salesforce development
- Providing technical leadership and mentorship to the Development and Automation teams
- Contributing to long‑term plans for our systems and platforms, and ensuring scalability in line with the businesses growth trajectory
About You
- Extensive experience in Salesforce architecture and development (Apex, Lightening Web Components and Salesforce APIs, etc.)
- Experience developing API‑based integrations using middleware tools, ideally Mulesoft
- Experience integrating AI capabilities either through third‑party solution providers or using AgentForce / Mulesoft
- Experience implementing and maintaining Salesforce Data Cloud
- Strong understanding of the testing and deployment lifecycle (unit testing, CI/CD, version control)
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to think strategically
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
