About The Role

Our Business Restructuring & Insolvency team is growing fast, and we’re looking for an Insolvency Assistant Manager who’s ready to take ownership, lead with confidence, and help us shape the future of the industry.
- Managing corporate insolvency procedures: administrations, liquidations (both solvent and insolvent), and voluntary arrangements.
- Leading some advisory engagements and applying up-to-date knowledge of case law, SIPs, and legislation.
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients and IPs, keeping everyone informed and engaged.
- Building strong relationships with professionals—legal teams, valuation agents, referrers.
- Driving progress on cases, resolving challenges, and keeping partners/IPs in the loop.
- Coaching and developing the team: allocating work, reviewing outputs, and providing feedback.
- Managing formal performance reviews and supporting career development.
- Getting involved in marketing and business development—helping us win new work and grow the department.
- Championing new ideas and ways of working to keep us ahead of the curve.
About You
- Strong experience managing corporate insolvency procedures: liquidations (solvent & insolvent), administrations, and ideally voluntary arrangements.
- Experience in personal insolvency (bankruptcy and voluntary arrangements) is desirable.
- Knowledge of insolvency case law, SIPs, and legislation.
- A confident communicator who can build trust and influence at all levels.
- Proven ability to manage WIP, billing, and case progression.
- Experience leading and developing a team (desirable).
- Commercially savvy with a track record of client handling and (ideally) business development.
- 5+ years insolvency experience (desirable).
- A team player who’s passionate about growth.
