Design Lead role at Cooper Parry.
About The Role: Are you a natural born creative with a knack for eye-catching design? Can you bring a concept to life from punchlines right down to pixels? Maybe you’re bored in a repetitive and restricted graphic design role? Uninspired and looking for a bold, vibrant and edgy brand that makes the most of your skills? You’ll be part of a bigger picture, working across website, digital channels, our office spaces and sometimes print, collaborating with fellow Designers, content experts, Marketing proposition managers and communications teams. Our Marketing team in Derby are growing, and we’re currently seeking a Design Lead to join them on their journey.
You\'ll be getting stuck into a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities, including:
- Working closely with our Head of Creative and designers to deliver brand concepts and material
- Collaborating with the marketing team to create stand out designs for digital media, website and print
- Developing and designing marketing materials such as digital communications, infographics, social media graphics, website graphics, and PPT presentations
- Developing creative concepts to evolve the CP brand
- Developing and delivering internal marketing toolkits and self -serve Design resources for the business
- Driving internal and external engagement with CP’s unique visual brand through education and communications
About You

- Have a design related qualification and at least 2 years’ experience in design roles
- Can confidently use the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Can prepare and optimise files for print and digital distribution, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and quality standards
- Have a strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout principles
- Experience with motion graphics or video editing software would be a bonus
- Can manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality designs within established deadlines
