About the role... Are you a problem-solver who can proactively identify improvements? Are you organised and detail focused, able to manage competing priorities and work with business users at various levels? We are looking for a Junior Salesforce Administrator to support the ongoing configuration, maintenance and improvement of our Salesforce platform. This role is suited to someone with solid Salesforce administration experience who can manage day-to-day platform requests, support users, configure changes and contribute to continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be confident working with stakeholders, understanding business needs and delivering safe, well-tested Salesforce changes. This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who can work independently on standard administration tasks and contribute to larger change initiatives with guidance from Architects and senior members of the team.

You’ll be getting involved with a range of tasks and responsibilities, including:

  • Managing Salesforce configuration changes, including fields, page layouts, record types, permissions, flows and validation rules
  • Supporting users with Salesforce queries, issues and requests
  • Maintaining user access, roles, profiles, permission sets, public groups and queues
  • Building and maintaining reports, dashboards and list views
  • Supporting data quality activities, including duplicate management, data updates and data clean-up
  • Working with business stakeholders to understand requirements and propose appropriate Salesforce solutions
  • Supporting testing of Salesforce changes, including preparation of test scenarios and validation of outcomes
  • Assisting with release activities, change control and deployment preparation
  • Documenting configuration changes, support processes and user guidance
  • Monitoring platform usage and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Working closely with Developers, Architects and Business Analysts on project delivery

About you... At Cooper Parry, we’re in it together. All we ask of our people is that they play all in. You’ll continuously strive to keep learning – whether you’re a trainee or a Partner – and you’ll be brave, stepping out of your comfort zone to tackle new challenges. Above all, be nice. A simple notion, but an irreplaceable part of what makes CP, CP. In addition to those core values, as a Junior Salesforce Administrator you should also have:

  • Handled ‘business as usual (BAU)’ Salesforce administration activities
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration and administration
  • Experience managing users, permissions, roles, profiles and permission sets
  • Experience building and maintaining Salesforce Flows
  • Good understanding of Salesforce data model, objects, fields and relationships
  • Ability to create reports and dashboards for business users
  • Good understanding of data quality, imports, exports and bulk updates
  • Experience supporting users and resolving Salesforce issues
  • Familiarity with change management and deployment processes
  • Able to gather requirements and convert them into practical Salesforce configuration
  • Proven ability to take ownership of issues through to resolution
  • Understanding of the importance of governance, documentation and controlled change.

It would also be handy (but not essential) to have:

  • Salesforce Administrator certification
  • Platform App Builder certification
  • Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud or Financial Services Cloud
  • Experience with Certinia, Data Loader, DevOps tooling or sandbox management
  • Awareness of integrations and how Salesforce connects with other business systems
