Are you ready to kickstart your career in Audit in December 2025? Imagine working with a wide range of dynamic businesses, diving deep into their financials, and uncovering the stories behind the numbers – all while being part of a team that’s as ambitious and curious as you are.

We’re Cooper Parry’s Audit team – a collaborative group of professionals, passionate about delivering high-quality audits that make a real difference.

We work closely with clients to ensure transparency, accuracy, and trust in their financial reporting – helping them grow with confidence and clarity.

You’ll be part of our Not for Profit Audit team – working with charities, academies, and social enterprises to ensure their finances are transparent and trusted, helping them focus on making a difference in the communities they serve.

This role is based in either our West or East Midlands office.

This role will begin in early December 2025 and the assessment centre will take place on the 3 rd October 2025

About You…

As an Audit Trainee, you’ll dive into real projects from day one.

This is more than just a job – it’s a launchpad. You’ll:

  • Support audit fieldwork by reviewing financial documents such as invoices, bank statements, and payroll reports, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Engage with clients to understand their systems and processes, attend year-end stocktakes, and contribute to audit testing and reporting in small teams.
  • Deliver high-quality work by managing deadlines, ensuring data accuracy, and collaborating with your team to meet client expectations.

You’ll be supported every step of the way – by peers, mentors, and even our Partners. We’ll give you structure, but also the freedom to grow at your own pace.

We’re Looking For Someone With

  • A completed graduate degree in any subject and 3 A-levels (BBC or above, including a numerical or business subject)
  • OR 3 A-levels (BBC or above, including a numerical or business subject)
  • Enthusiasm about Audit and motivated to succeed – both in the role and in their qualification journey
