We\’re Cooper Parry\’s Audit team – a collaborative group of professionals, passionate about delivering high-quality audits that make a real difference. We work closely with clients to ensure transparency, accuracy, and trust in their financial reporting – helping them grow with confidence and clarity. This role is based in our West Midlands office. This role will begin in early September 2026 and the assessment centres will take place on 19th November, 28th January and 18th March
About you
As an Audit Trainee, you\’ll dive into real projects from day one.
This is more than just a job – it\’s a launchpad. You\’ll:
- Support audit fieldwork by reviewing financial documents such as invoices, bank statements, and payroll reports, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements.
- Engage with clients to understand their systems and processes, attend year-end stocktakes, and contribute to audit testing and reporting in small teams.
- Deliver high-quality work by managing deadlines, ensuring data accuracy, and collaborating with your team to meet client expectations.
You\’ll be supported every step of the way – by peers, mentors, and even our Partners. We\’ll give you structure, but also the freedom to grow at your own pace.
Qualifications
- A completed graduate degree in any subject
- and 3 A-levels (BBC or above, including a numerical or business subject)
- Enthusiasm about Audit and motivated to succeed – both in the role and in their qualification journey
