Cooper Parry Finance Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of their exclusive client based in St Andrews for a temporary Finance Assistant, until at least end of October 2026 to cover busy summer months. The role is 21 - 28 hours a week to suit the successful candidate's requirements, with flexibility on start and finish times and days working. This position will pay up to £18 per hour, £32,776 full-time equivalent depending on experience.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant who has dealt with a high volume of purchase ledger invoices. You will complete accurate data entry, processing of supplier invoices and payments during a busy period. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing supplier invoices accurately in a timely manner
- Accurate data entry
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Any other finance or administrative duties required
The Candidate
You will have previous experience in accounts payable or in a finance administration role. You will have strong attention to detail and accuracy skills. You will have working knowledge of Excel. You will have an ability to work on your own and as part of a team. Knowledge of NetSuite is advantageous but not essential.
Renumeration and Benefits
Up to £18 per hour, £32,776 FTE depending on experience. Flexible part-time hours. On-site role in St Andrews. Temporary position until minimum end of October.
