Cooper Parry Finance Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of their exclusive client based in St Andrews for a temporary Finance Assistant, until at least end of October 2026 to cover busy summer months. The role is 21 - 28 hours a week to suit the successful candidate's requirements, with flexibility on start and finish times and days working. This position will pay up to £18 per hour, £32,776 full-time equivalent depending on experience.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant who has dealt with a high volume of purchase ledger invoices. You will complete accurate data entry, processing of supplier invoices and payments during a busy period. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing supplier invoices accurately in a timely manner
  • Accurate data entry
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Any other finance or administrative duties required

The Candidate

  • You will have previous experience in accounts payable or in a finance administration role
  • You will have strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • You will have working knowledge of Excel
  • You will have an ability to work on your own and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of NetSuite is advantageous but not essential

Renumeration and Benefits

  • Up to £18 per hour, £32,776 FTE depending on experience
