Paisley | Office-Based | Full-Time or Part-Time
An established and growing business based in Paisley is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator / Purchase Ledger Clerk to join its busy finance and administration team.
This is a varied role with payroll as the primary focus, alongside responsibility for purchase ledger and general office administration. The successful candidate will be organised, accurate and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll
- Process weekly payroll for approximately 1,500 employees.
- Complete end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain employee payroll records.
- Produce payroll reports for management.
- Respond to employee payroll queries.
- Administer joiners, leavers and employee absences.
- Produce employee access cards.
- Match, code and process supplier invoices.
- Maintain supplier accounts and set up new suppliers.
- Organise invoice authorisation across the business.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Support month-end processes.
- Assist with general office administration, including welcoming visitors and distributing post.
About You
- Previous payroll experience is essential.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build positive working relationships across the business.
- Comfortable working in a busy office environment.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.

Full-Time
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00am β 5:00pm
- Office-based in Paisley
Part-Time
- Thursday & Friday (mornings)
- Office-based in Paisley
