Cooper Parry Finance Recruitment (Formally Hutcheon Mearns) are delighted to be supporting a returning client for an exciting opportunity to join their office in Perth as the Office Administrator, on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is a highly regarded and growing Law Accountancy firm based in Perth, with a strong reputation across Scotland and a supportive, collaborative working environment. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to add an organised and proactive individual to provide administration support to a team of experienced Law Accountants. This position is fully office-based in Perth and would suit someone with previous administration, PA, secretarial or office support experience who enjoys working in a professional and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Law Accountants
- Typing correspondence and legal/accountancy documentation
- Managing paperwork deliveries/collection - candidates must be able to drive and have access to a car
- Provide invoice typing support during holiday periods
- Document shredding and confidential document handling
- Preparing auditor bundles for Law Accountants online
- Vouching support for Law Accountancy team
- Sending chaser emails and follow up on outstanding information
- Managing taxation diaries online
- Updating holiday diaries online
- Sickness absence reporting and administration
Background and Experience
- Previous experience within an administration, PA, secretarial or office support role
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
- Professional and discreet approach when handling confidential information
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Outlook and Excel
Company Benefits
- Competitive salary of £26,000 - £29,000 per year
- 35 hour working week (Monday to Friday)
- 2.30pm Finish on a Friday!
