We’re partnering with a forward-thinking organisation undergoing a major finance transformation to appoint a Systems Controller within their Finance Operations and MI function. This is a fantastic opportunity for a systems-focused finance professional to play a key role in shaping and optimising finance processes within a modern ERP environment.
The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of finance systems activity across a large-scale transformation programme, supporting system optimisation, data integrity and process improvement. Acting as a subject matter expert, you’ll work closely with both Finance and IT to deliver scalable, efficient and high-performing financial systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead system configuration and maintenance across a finance ERP platform (e.g. D365 or similar)
- Oversee financial data integrity, controls and reporting accuracy
- Support data migration, cleansing and system enhancements
- Design and deliver reporting solutions, working closely with stakeholders
- Play a key role in testing cycles, system improvements and training delivery
- Act as the bridge between Finance, IT and wider business functions
About You
- Experienced finance professional with strong systems exposure
- Proven knowledge of finance processes (RTR / reporting / controls)
- Exposure to ERP systems (ideally D365 or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting tools (e.g. Power BI)
- Confident stakeholder engagement across finance and non-finance teams
- Ideally qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or qualified by experience
