We’re supporting an exciting and ambitious organisation operating at the intersection of innovation, growth and ecosystem development to appoint a Fractional Finance Director. This is not a traditional FD opportunity. For over a decade, our client has helped ambitious businesses launch, scale and accelerate growth through a combination of programmes, partnerships, investment, community and deep operator expertise. Having established a significant position in its market, the organisation is now entering a new phase of evolution. The incoming FD will play a central role in helping shape what comes next. This is a strategic finance leadership opportunity with exposure across commercial performance, transformation, funding, operating model design and long-term value creation.
Key Priorities
- Enhancing financial planning, reporting and decision support across the core business
- Increasing financial capability and commercial awareness across the leadership team
- Supporting strategic planning, board reporting and organisational decision making
- Reviewing and optimising legal and financial structures to support future growth ambitions
- Supporting major contract and stakeholder negotiations
- Helping shape new models for value creation and long-term sustainability, including potential investment capability
Qualifications
- Has operated as an FD / CFO in scaling, evolving or transforming businesses
- Brings broad commercial and strategic finance experience, not just technical excellence
- Enjoys working closely with founders, operators and leadership teams
- Has experience navigating ambiguity and building for the future
- Has an interest in innovation, growth businesses and creating lasting impact
Initially we expect support requirements of approximately 8-12 days per month and this role would suit someone who wants to do more than oversee finance and instead help shape the future direction of an ambitious organisation.
