Cooper Parry Finance Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading business in the search for a Business Process Analyst to join a major finance transformation project.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Process Analyst to join a large-scale finance transformation programme and play a pivotal role in reshaping how finance planning and performance management processes operate across the organisation.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, you will support the development of a more efficient, standardised and insight-led operating model covering budgeting, forecasting and performance management activities.
You'll be part of a high-profile transformation programme, helping to shape future-state processes while driving meaningful business improvement across the organisation.
The role will be based four days per week from our client’s office in Cumbernauld.
The Role You will provide analytical, process improvement and project delivery support across the end-to-end planning cycle.
You'll work closely with a range of stakeholders to identify opportunities for standardisation, streamline ways of working and support successful implementation of new processes and systems.
Key responsibilities include: Supporting the design and delivery of finance planning and performance management processes.
Mapping existing processes and identifying opportunities for improvement and standardisation.
Applying LEAN and continuous improvement methodologies to reduce inefficiencies and enhance performance.
Conducting root cause analysis and developing practical solutions to operational challenges.
Supporting budgeting, forecasting, performance management and reporting process design.
Developing process documentation, KPI frameworks, governance materials and business requirements.
Monitoring risks, issues and dependencies across the workstream.
Supporting system, reporting and workflow readiness activities.
Preparing high-quality materials for steering groups, governance forums and stakeholder updates.
Assisting with implementation, go-live activities and business-as-usual handover.
About You We're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate: Experience within business process analysis, continuous improvement or finance transformation environments.
Strong understanding of planning and performance management processes, including budgeting and forecasting.
Proven experience applying LEAN, process optimisation or similar methodologies.
Strong project delivery and change management experience.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
The ability to translate complex information into clear and actionable recommendations.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Power Point and Word.
Experience working within large-scale transformation programmes would be highly advantageous.
