- Cooper Parry is supporting our client to recruit a
Global Payroll Process Owner - this is a 12 month fixed term contract.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll lead the global payroll strategy, ensuring compliance, driving process improvements, and implementing effective payroll systems across multiple regions.
We're looking for candidates with a proven track record in payroll implementation and development , strong technical knowledge, and the ability to influence and guide a payroll team.
Experience collaborating with HR, IT, and finance functions is essential.

- Purpose
- Oversee the implementation and compliance of payroll policies, procedures, processes, and IT systems.
- Steer the overall management of global payroll, identifying areas of risk and improvement.
- Develop and implement a target operating model for global payroll.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of payroll analysts (non-direct line management).
- Monitor labour costs, budget processes, monthly controls, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and finance functions to deliver integrated payroll solutions aligned with HR systems and ERP platforms.
- Candidate Profile
- Proven track record in payroll implementation and development .
- Strong technical understanding of payroll processes and compliance requirements across multiple countries.
- Experience in developing payroll operating models and leading teams through influence and expertise.
- Ability to collaborate across finance, HR, IT, and corporate functions.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in labour cost monitoring and budget control.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
