We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Reporting Manager to join our Project Controls team and play a key role in supporting one of the UK's largest and most complex infrastructure programmes within the nuclear sector. As a Senior Reporting Manager, you will support the delivery and continuous improvement of reporting, performance management, and management insight capabilities across a major programme environment. You will be responsible for producing intelligent, validated, and meaningful reporting outputs that enable effective decision-making while helping drive innovation through digital reporting and data analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation and maintenance of reporting processes and frameworks across a major infrastructure programme.
- Lead development, production, and continuous improvement of reporting products and performance dashboards.
- Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, validated, insightful and tailored to stakeholder needs.
- Review and improve underlying processes that support reporting activities, enhancing data quality, governance, and reporting controls.
- Collaborate closely with project controls, PMO, digital, and delivery teams to meet reporting requirements and support project objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across a complex programme environment.
- Manage and develop reporting and data resources, providing leadership, mentoring, and resilience within the team.
- Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, correlations, risks, and opportunities that support informed decision-making.
- Transform and structure data in alignment with project controls frameworks, including WBS, CBS, and OBS structures.
- Apply statistical analysis and forecasting techniques to support performance monitoring and predict future delivery trends.
- Support development and implementation of digital reporting solutions, dashboards, and business intelligence tools.
- Champion a "Digital by Default" approach to reporting and help establish best practice data analytics and business intelligence frameworks.
- Share knowledge, lessons learned, and reporting best practices to enhance project controls capability across the wider organisation.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in reporting, performance management, or project controls within a major programme environment.
- Experience developing and managing reporting processes, performance frameworks, and management information outputs.
- Strong understanding of project controls disciplines and reporting structures, including WBS, CBS, and OBS frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and challenge reporting narratives for a range of audiences.
- Experience driving continuous improvement and implementing digital solutions within reporting environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build effective working relationships across multiple functions.
- Detail-oriented individual who can synthesise complex information into clear actionable insights.
- Degree in a numerate discipline, HND, or equivalent qualification supported by relevant industry experience.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience working on major infrastructure, energy, nuclear, transportation, defence, or other large-scale capital projects.
- Experience developing reporting frameworks on complex or mega-projects.
- Proficiency in Power BI, data visualisation, data analytics, data mining, and statistical analysis techniques.
- Experience working within highly regulated project environments.
- Knowledge of modern business intelligence and digital reporting solutions.
