We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Project Controls Reporting Manager to join our Project Controls team and support the delivery of one of the UK's largest and most complex infrastructure programmes within the nuclear sector.
As a Project Controls Reporting Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality reporting, performance management, and management insight capabilities across a major programme environment. You will support the development and maintenance of reporting processes, ensuring stakeholders receive accurate, timely, and meaningful information to support effective decision-making.

You’ll
- Support the implementation and maintenance of reporting processes, including the production of regular performance reports and management information.
- Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, validated, consistent, and tailored to stakeholder requirements.
- Promote and maintain performance reporting frameworks across complex programme environments.
- Collaborate closely with PMO, project controls, digital, and delivery teams to support reporting requirements and programme objectives.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the management and development of reporting and data resources within the team.
- Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance insights.
- Develop clear and engaging reporting outputs including dashboards, graphs, visualisations, and management reports.
- Review reporting outputs to ensure data quality, consistency and accuracy while challenging inconsistencies and improving reporting standards.
- Structure and transform data in alignment with project controls frameworks, including WBS, CBS, and OBS structures.
- Support forecasting activities through data analysis and trend identification.
- Work with Power BI developers and digital teams to develop and improve reporting dashboards and business intelligence solutions.
- Support the implementation of "Digital by Default" reporting initiatives and contribute to the development of data analytics and business intelligence capabilities.
- Share knowledge and best practices to continuously improve reporting and project controls performance across the organisation.
We’re looking for:
Essential
- Experience within a reporting, project controls, PMO or performance management environment.
- Strong understanding of project controls principles and reporting structures, including WBS, CBS and OBS frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to produce and challenge reporting narratives for a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience driving continuous improvement within reporting and management information processes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex datasets and present findings in a clear and actionable way.
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy, consistency and quality of reporting outputs.
- Degree in a numerate subject, HND or equivalent qualification supported by relevant industry experience.
Desirable
- Experience working on major infrastructure, energy, nuclear, defence, transportation or other large‑scale capital programmes.
- Experience developing reporting frameworks and performance reporting solutions.
- Experience using Power BI and other data visualisation tools.
- Knowledge of data analytics, statistical analysis and business intelligence methodologies.
- Experience working within highly regulated environments.
