We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Risk Manager to join our Project Controls team and play a key part in supporting our clients. You will work in teams with other Risk Specialists, supporting the development and implementation of the overall risk management and reporting capability within CMR and our clients.

Responsibilities
- Work with the Project Management and Commercial Teams to help manage project risks effectively and achieve project goals;
- Assist in organising risk workshops to make sure all potential issues are identified in the project;
- Guide team members in maintaining and updating risk registers by helping them identify causes, events, impacts of risks, and proposing responses;
- Provide information and basic analysis to support the creation of monthly reports;
- Build relationships with stakeholders to encourage a positive risk culture within the organization.
Essential qualifications
- Relevant exposure to project management or project controls environment.
- Experience in various construction projects.
- A technically-minded individual with a basic understanding of risk methodologies, mitigation processes & techniques within an enterprise environment.
- An effective communicator who is able to explain technical concepts to a wider audience.
- An individual comfortable with questioning assumptions and processes to contribute to the continuous improvement of performance data delivery.
Desirable qualifications
- Recognised project management qualification such as Association of Project Management (APM) or Institute of Risk Management (IRM).
- The ability to use quantitative risk analysis tools for cost and schedule risk analysis (e.g. @Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, ARM, Safran).
Requirements and Location
- Full right to work in the UK.
- Working from home and a minimum of 2 days in the Suffolk site office.
