We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our dynamic award‑winning team. Our client is leading a highly ambitious airport infrastructure investment programme, encompassing major airfield upgrades, terminal enhancements and large‑scale real estate developments. Supported by Government and an integrated supply chain, the programme is moving through critical stages of development, funding and regulatory alignment. As part of this growth, the organisation is strengthening its planning capability and seeking senior planners to play a key role in shaping programme controls, driving consistency across projects, and supporting the successful delivery of complex, multi‑stakeholder schemes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a robust delivery schedule with clear milestones, coordinating work sequences with the overall project plan.
  • Perform schedule monitoring, identify critical activities, and assist in updating and monitoring the schedule.
  • Develop and apply installation rates, review and analyse contractor schedules, and provide recommendations to the project team.
  • Evaluate quantities, job hours and schedule logic; prepare progress and performance reports.
  • Manage contract programme assessment, compensation events and perform delay analysis.

Qualifications

  • Degree or postgraduate‑level education in construction, business or related field.
  • Experience as a planner on projects over £5 million, with proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Excel.
  • Experience in planning infrastructure projects, performing quantity takeoffs and statistical analysis.
  • Understanding of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction processes and NEC contracts.
  • Strong communication skills, personal resilience and ability to operate within ambiguity.
  • Full right to work in the UK.
