We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to support the delivery of a major infrastructure scheme at Dublin Airport, involving the development of a new underpass. The role is focused on providing high-quality commercial and contractual advice to the client and wider project team throughout the design and delivery stages. This position offers remote working and can accommodate part-time arrangements, making it ideal for experienced commercial professionals seeking flexibility.

- Provide commercial management and advisory services in line with NEC contract principles
- Act as a trusted commercial advisor to the client and project stakeholders
- Support the administration and management of NEC contracts, including compensation events, early warnings, and change control
- Provide commercial input during the design phase, including cost advice, risk allocation, and contract strategy
- Prepare and review cost plans, forecasts, and financial reports
- Support procurement strategy and tender evaluations from a commercial perspective
- Assist with valuations, payment assessments, and final account negotiations
- Identify, assess, and advise on commercial risks and opportunities
- Ensure best practice, compliance, and value-for-money outcomes for the client
Essential:
- Proven experience working in a Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial Consultant role
- Strong experience advising on NEC contracts (NEC4)
- Demonstrable experience working on design-stage contracts and design-led projects
- Background in infrastructure or civil engineering projects
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work autonomously within a remote consultancy model
Desirable:
- Experience on aviation or airport-related infrastructure projects
- Experience providing commercial advice to public-sector or semi-state clients
- Chartered or working towards chartership (RICS, CIOB, or equivalent)
