We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Risk Analyst to join our dynamic, award-winning team, supporting one of the UK’s largest and most complex infrastructure programmes. This role sits at the heart of Integrated Project Controls (Risk), acting as a technical lead and trusted advisor across a critical programme area within this nationally significant mega-project.

You’ll:
- Act as the Risk lead and subject matter expert for your nominated Programme/Area
- Ensure Risk & Opportunity processes are implemented consistently and in line with project governance and nuclear safety culture
- Own and assure the integrity of Risk data within ARM and associated systems
- Deliver timely, accurate and insightful Risk reporting, including commentary on key schedule and cost drivers
- Lead and facilitate risk workshops, scenario planning sessions and issue reviews
- Challenge assumptions and uncertainties to enable prioritisation and robust decision-making
- Integrate Risk outputs with Schedule, Cost, Change and Performance disciplines
- Support Programme/Area Directors and Tier 1 Contractors in assessing and managing risk exposure
- Provide assurance and insight for Programme Reviews, Portfolio Risk Reviews and Board reporting
- Manage and verify Power BI dashboard data, recommending enhancements
- Mentor Risk Analysts and Trainees, and support wider risk capability development
- Drive continuous improvement across risk processes, reporting and tools
We’re looking for:
Essential:
- Demonstrable experience operating as a Senior Risk Analyst or Risk Lead on large, complex infrastructure or construction programmes
- Strong understanding of integrated project controls (risk, cost, planning, change and performance measurement)
- Proven ability to facilitate senior-level risk workshops
- Experience working in highly regulated environments (nuclear, defence, rail or similar)
- Ability to translate complex technical risk data into clear executive insight
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience assuring data integrity and governance compliance
- Proficiency in: ARM (Risk & Opportunity management), Safran (QSRA), Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members
Desirable:
- Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Project Controls or related discipline
- Industry-recognised Risk qualifications (e.g. MoR Practitioner, APM Risk Level 2)
- Experience supporting multi-billion-pound capital programmes
- Experience within the nuclear sector
