We are currently seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support a major nuclear infrastructure project near Bristol, working within a site-based engineering function to strengthen reporting, governance and data-driven decision making.

The Role – Data Analyst
You will provide analytical and data management support within a Joint Design Office–style engineering environment, enabling accurate, timely and actionable insight across design, manufacture and construction activities. Operating within a highly regulated nuclear environment, you will ensure robust governance, strong data integrity and repeatable reporting processes that support engineering delivery across multiple programme units.
You’ll
- Perform weekly and monthly updates of engineering performance data from multiple stakeholders
- Clean, reconcile and validate complex, multi-source datasets to create unified reporting views
- Develop and maintain dashboards (Power BI preferred) to track engineering progress and highlight emerging risks or constraints
- Support preparation of monthly reporting packs for Senior Leadership Teams, providing clear narrative insight alongside visual analytics
- Operate within strict information management and quality governance frameworks
- Interface with discipline leads and engineering managers to resolve data quality issues
- Engage external stakeholders where required to unblock data dependencies
- Support change management, configuration control and reporting traceability
- Document processes and maintain data dictionaries to ensure transparency and audit readiness
- Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement of reporting workflows
We’re Looking For
Essential
- Experience in a Data Analyst or Reporting role within large, complex engineering or construction environments
- Strong Power BI capability (dashboard development and data modelling)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills
- Experience linking multiple data sources and performing reconciliation and validation
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills
- Ability to communicate complex data clearly to senior stakeholders
- Experience working within structured governance or regulated environments
- Ability to manage competing priorities independently
Desirable
- Experience on nuclear or major infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with Information Management Systems or regulated data governance frameworks
- SQL or Python experience
- VBA or automation experience
- General engineering knowledge
