Location: Norwich

Salary: up to £34,500 DOE (£13.00 - £17.00 per hour)

We are looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join our client’s ever-expanding team!

Role Responsibilities:

  • Quality workmanship in sheet metal fabrication
  • Perform TIG / MIG welding jobs to a high standard.
  • Read and interpret drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and requirements for each project.
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Maintain good working relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Adhere to the health & safety policy.
  • Problem solving of workplace issues.
  • All other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

Required Skills:

  • Must have proven skills and experience as a TIG / MIG Welder.
  • Able to read and work from engineer drawings independently.
  • Ability operating manual fabrications machinery and tools.

Desired Skills:

  • Fabricating for 3 years is preferred.
  • Driving licence is preferred.
  • Experience working in the food industry is preferred.
  • Self-motivated and high energy.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities.
  • Able to use own initiative.

Shift Pattern:

39 hours per week Monday – Thursday 0700 – 1530 Friday 0700 - 1430

Working Location:

Norwich, Norfolk Site based position.
