We are looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join our client’s ever-expanding team!
Role Responsibilities:
- Quality workmanship in sheet metal fabrication
- Perform TIG / MIG welding jobs to a high standard.
- Read and interpret drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and requirements for each project.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain good working relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Adhere to the health & safety policy.
- Problem solving of workplace issues.
- All other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
Required Skills:
- Must have proven skills and experience as a TIG / MIG Welder.
- Able to read and work from engineer drawings independently.
- Ability operating manual fabrications machinery and tools.
Desired Skills:
- Fabricating for 3 years is preferred.
- Driving licence is preferred.
- Experience working in the food industry is preferred.
- Self-motivated and high energy.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities.
- Able to use own initiative.
Shift Pattern:
39 hours per week Monday – Thursday 0700 – 1530 Friday 0700 - 1430
Working Location:
Norwich, Norfolk Site based position.
