We’re recruiting for an experienced Machinist / Toolmaker to join a well-established manufacturing business in Halesworth. This is a hands‑on role focused on producing and maintaining high‑quality tooling to support ongoing production. It would suit someone confident working independently, who takes pride in precision work and wants long‑term stability with opportunities to develop further.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture new tooling using modern CNC machines, tools and equipment
- Carry out repairs, modifications and manufacture of ancillary equipment
- Maintain accurate records of servicing and repair work completed
- Support production by ensuring tooling is maintained to a high standard
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum two years’ experience as a Toolmaker and/or Machinist in a similar environment
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes
- Ability to work to tight tolerances and engineering drawings
- CAM programming experience desirable, but training can be provided
