Software Asset Management Administrator
Fully remote – 3-month contract (scope to extend) – starting 6th of January
£14.00 – £14.50 Per hour
We are looking for an experienced software licence specialist, administrator to join global Software services company
Job duties
Compliance and Reporting
- Assisting the ITVOM in the implementation of new policies and procedures
- Producing and generating compliance reports and reporting to stakeholders where required.
- Providing regular reports on software licence usage, compliance and cost.
Stakeholder management
- Created and maintained a good rapport and working relationship with third party stakeholders and clients.
- Communicate with stakeholders at all levels
Management of software licences
- Across multiple vendors such as Microsoft, Adobe and Oracle etc.
- Help maintain an accurate and up to date inventory of all software
- Assist in the management of software licence agreements
- Proactively researching cost savings activities across the current database
- Assist in the management of software contracts ensuring the compliance of T&C’s
- Knowledge of Snow and Snow Atlas, including SAM core and SAAS.
Software procurement
- Assist with the transfer of the software procurement process.
- Involved in the transfer of the purchasing process via the Spend council
- Assisting the ITVOM in leading the weekly spend council meetings.
- Reviewing purchasing, renewals and additions in licencing.
Process and Documentation
- Assisting the ITVOM with developing and implementation of processes and documentation for SAM
- Ensuring they align with the current practices.
