This is a workshop-based Fabricator / Welder position within an established steel fabrication business. You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality fabrication work from engineering drawings, working to tight tolerances and maintaining consistent standards. The role suits an experienced fabricator who takes pride in accuracy, quality and doing the job properly.

Key responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and weld steel components to specification
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
  • Work to tight tolerances and quality standards
  • Carry out MIG welding to a high standard
  • Use fabrication machinery and workshop equipment safely
  • Occasional site work across the South East and London (when required)

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong fabrication experience within a steel environment
  • Confident MIG welder
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
  • Experience working accurately to tolerance
  • TIG welding and sheet metal experience advantageous
  • Previous site work experience beneficial but not essential

Hours & benefits:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 40-hour week with 2:00pm finish on Fridays
  • Overtime paid at a higher rate (when available)
  • Free on-site parking
