Trainee Electrical Winder

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings and on call requirements Are you hands on, practical, and eager to learn a skilled trade? Looking to build a long term career in electrical engineering with a well established and respected business? We\’re working with a Norwich based company specialising in the repair and testing of electric motors, gearboxes, and pumps, and they\’re looking for a dedicated Trainee Electrical Winder to join their close knit team.
No prior experience in electrical winding is required, full training will be provided.
You\’ll work alongside experienced engineers to learn and carry out the rewinding and testing of various electro mechanical equipment. Strip and rewind AC DC motors, transformers, and other electro mechanical units
Operate repair and testing equipment (surge testers, bake ovens, cranes, grinders)
Participate in on call duties and occasional Saturday work
Full, clean UK driving licence
Basic understanding or experience of electrical or mechanical work
