The Role:

  • As a Technical Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, carrying out installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting across the UK.
  • You will work closely with internal sales and engineering teams, ensuring seamless customer experiences while maximizing product efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and commissioning of specialist systems at customer sites
  • Performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on demand
  • Training customers on equipment operation and best practices
  • Conducting on-site tests and supporting application engineering
  • Collaborating with sales teams to identify new opportunities and upsell service contracts
  • Assisting in exhibitions, open houses, and customer demonstrations

What We Are Looking For:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Five or more years of hands-on experience in a Field Service or Technical Support role
  • Strong Electrical and Hydraulic system knowledge
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and pneumatic schematics
  • Familiarity with industrial automation
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and customer-facing skills
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
