The Role:
- As a Technical Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, carrying out installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting across the UK.
- You will work closely with internal sales and engineering teams, ensuring seamless customer experiences while maximizing product efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and commissioning of specialist systems at customer sites
- Performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on demand
- Training customers on equipment operation and best practices
- Conducting on-site tests and supporting application engineering
- Collaborating with sales teams to identify new opportunities and upsell service contracts
- Assisting in exhibitions, open houses, and customer demonstrations
What We Are Looking For:
- Associate's degree or equivalent in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
- Five or more years of hands-on experience in a Field Service or Technical Support role
- Strong Electrical and Hydraulic system knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and pneumatic schematics
- Familiarity with industrial automation
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication and customer-facing skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
