An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanically Biased Site Engineer to join a leading Food Manufacturing/FMCG business on a permanent night shift. Working within a fast-paced, high-volume production environment, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of manufacturing and packaging equipment through planned preventative maintenance, rapid breakdown response and continuous improvement activities.

Your focus will be on maximising plant performance, minimising downtime and ensuring all engineering activities are carried out safely while meeting the highest food safety and quality standards. This role is ideal for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a background in Food Manufacturing, FMCG, Packaging, Bakery, Dairy, Beverage, Fresh Produce or other high-speed production environments.

  • Permanent Night Shift (6:00pm - 6:00am)
  • 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
  • £53,089 annual salary
  • Overtime paid at 1 times your hourly rate
  • 21 days annual leave
  • Company Sick Pay: 2 weeks full pay followed by 2 weeks at half pay
  • Discretionary annual bonus based on company performance
