Cooper Lomaz are working with an innovative and fast-growing SaaS organisation that is looking to strengthen its commercial team with the appointment of a Sales Development Representative. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven SDR to join a business operating within a modern SaaS environment, helping enterprise organisations solve complex business challenges through technology. The role will suit someone who enjoys building relationships, opening conversations and creating new business opportunities through a consultative sales approach.
Enterprise SaaS experience would be highly advantageous, although we would also welcome applications from successful B2B sales professionals looking to transition into a software-led environment.
The Opportunity
Working as part of a collaborative sales and marketing function, you will be responsible for engaging prospective enterprise customers, nurturing interest generated through marketing campaigns and creating qualified opportunities for the senior sales team. You'll be responsible for managing outbound activity across multiple channels, building relationships with senior stakeholders and identifying opportunities within larger, more complex organisations. This is not a high-volume transactional sales role; success comes from quality conversations, strategic prospecting and developing long-term opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective enterprise clients through phone, email, LinkedIn and virtual meetings
- Qualify and develop inbound and outbound opportunities
- Build relationships with senior decision-makers across a variety of sectors
- Generate high-quality meetings and sales opportunities for the wider commercial team
- Manage prospect engagement through structured outreach campaigns
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline management
- Collaborate closely with marketing teams to maximise campaign performance and lead conversion
- Support the progression of opportunities through the early stages of the sales cycle
- Monitor activity, pipeline development and performance against agreed KPIs and objectives
About You
- Previous experience within a Sales Development Representative, Business Development Representative, Inside Sales or Lead Generation role
- Proven success generating qualified opportunities within a B2B environment
- Experience selling SaaS, software, technology or subscription-based solutions would be highly beneficial
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and enterprise-level organisations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commercially aware with a consultative and relationship-driven approach
- Self-motivated, organised and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce or similar
- Resilient and persistent, with the ability to manage longer and more complex sales cycles
