Main Duties:
- Visiting sites across the UK to support company machinery
- Providing mechanical support at client sites, troubleshooting, repairs
- Installation of new equipment, moving machines, services and decommissioning
- Providing telephone support where appropriate
Key skills as the Field Service Engineer:
- Ideally education in BEng, HND, HNC or relevant industry experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience in large mechanical/digital machinery
- Analytical, organised
- Computer literate
- CAD or graphics software knowledge advantageous
- Clean driving license
Desired Skills:
- Formal qualification in engineering (HNC, HND, B/Eng, or equivalent) is preferred but not essential if balanced by strong experience
- Experience in a similar role, particularly with high-value technical equipment
Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar field service role
- Background in engineering, particularly in equipment installation and maintenance
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Friday, with flexibility required for travel and customer support needs
- Initially on-site at the UK Head office for induction and product training for a minimum of 1-2 weeks
- Continued support with a colleague for at least 4-6 months
