This is a hands-on maintenance role within a fast-paced production environment. You’ll be responsible for keeping plant and equipment running safely and efficiently, with a strong focus on electrical systems. Key responsibilities
- Ensure all plant and equipment meet statutory and insurance compliance requirements
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance to minimise breakdowns
- Respond to faults and complete corrective maintenance to reduce downtime
- Provide proactive maintenance support across the site
- Contribute to continuous improvement and site transformation initiatives
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance
What we’re looking for
- Multi-skilled engineering qualification (Electrical/Mechanical or Mechatronics)
- Strong electrical bias with good all-round maintenance capability
- Solid understanding of maintenance systems, machine operation, and health & safety
- Knowledge of maintenance best practices
- Experience within a manufacturing environment (food sector beneficial)
- Strong fault-finding and root cause analysis skills
