This is a hands-on maintenance role within a fast-paced production environment. You’ll be responsible for keeping plant and equipment running safely and efficiently, with a strong focus on electrical systems. It suits an experienced engineer who can work independently, solve problems quickly, and contribute to ongoing site improvements.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure all plant and equipment meet statutory and insurance compliance requirements
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance to minimise breakdowns
  • Respond to faults and complete corrective maintenance to reduce downtime
  • Provide proactive maintenance support across the site
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and site transformation initiatives
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance

What we’re looking for

  • Multi-skilled engineering qualification (Electrical/Mechanical or Mechatronics)
  • Strong electrical bias with good all-round maintenance capability
  • Solid understanding of maintenance systems, machine operation, and health & safety
  • Knowledge of maintenance best practices
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment (food sector beneficial)
  • Strong fault-finding and root cause analysis skills
