The Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their manufacturing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal components, working from engineering drawings and specifications to produce high-quality finished products.

Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Measure, mark out and cut sheet metal accurately.
- Fabricate and assemble components to drawing specifications.
- Operate relevant sheet metal machinery and workshop equipment.
- Carry out bending, forming, drilling, grinding and finishing operations.
- Carry out MIG/TIG welding where required.
- Work with materials including mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets required quality standards.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
About You
The ideal candidate will have
- Previous experience within a sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- The ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
- Good understanding of measurements, tolerances and dimensions.
- Experience using hand tools and fabrication machinery.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A reliable, hardworking and positive approach to work
