The predicted salary is between 40000 - 40000 £ per year.

£38,000 - £42,000 experience dependant

Up to 25% bonus / salary sacrifice pension / EAP / on site parking / annual leave increases up to 30 days increasing by 1 day every 3 years ( base line annual leave is 25 days + bank holidays ).

Product & Brand Manager

Role Overview

As a Product & Brand Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategic development and commercial success of our product portfolio.

Working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and brand partners, you will identify growth opportunities, strengthen brand performance, and maximise sales, profitability, and market presence.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role that combines commercial strategy, product management, and brand development, making it ideal for a proactive and results-oriented professional.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the product portfolio, market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Conduct regular portfolio and range reviews with brand partners, using market insights and performance data to optimise product offerings and improve profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, agencies, and service providers, negotiating favourable commercial terms, pricing, and marketing support.
  • Ensure suppliers and brand principals consistently deliver agreed service levels to support business objectives and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing agencies and brand owners to create and execute strategic marketing plans, promotional campaigns, and trade marketing initiatives within agreed budgets.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new brand partners and suppliers that complement and strengthen the company's product portfolio.
  • Manage product lifecycle activities, including discontinuations, clearance strategies, and portfolio rationalisation to support innovation and maximise efficiency.
  • Lead the end-to-end product launch process, coordinating packaging development, forecasting, and cross-functional communication with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service, and Marketing teams.
  • Provide ongoing commercial support to the Sales team through accurate product information, pricing, presentations, and sales materials.
  • Foster strong collaboration across departments to ensure effective communication and seamless execution of business initiatives.
  • Monitor sales performance, profitability, and key commercial metrics, taking proactive action to achieve agreed revenue and profit targets.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging, data-driven presentations for internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners.
  • Lead, coach, and develop direct reports by setting clear objectives, promoting accountability, and encouraging continuous improvement.

  • Strong commercial awareness with a proven ability to drive sales, profit, and sustainable business growth.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point, with the ability to analyse data, develop forecasts, and present commercial insights effectively.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple products and projects simultaneously while prioritising competing deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience developing and executing successful product and brand strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to make informed commercial decisions using data, market analysis, and financial insight.
  • Collaborative approach with experience working across cross-functional teams to successfully deliver commercial objectives
