Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Engineer Loaction: Bury St Edmunds Salary: £50,000 – £53,000 + 5% Bonus Role Responsibilities: Perform corrective and preventive electrical maintenance · Perform repairs of production and processing equipment as well as utility related equipment · Support the installation of new equipment · Ensure all repairs are documented · Responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and neat work area · Complete all paperwork neatly and correctly · Participate in BOPEX (continuous improvement) program · Comply with all procedures, regulation and policies applicable. · Stop and report unsafe operations and use mandatory PPE as defined. · Offer flexibility in working hours subject to business needs Skills Required: The successful candidate will have completed their NVQ Level 3 multi skilled apprenticeship electrically bias. Ideally with experience working in heavy plant environment appx 5 years + Experience working on PLC and SCADA control system. Mitsubishi, Siemens, Rockwell and Fanuc. Work experience in a FMCG environment (food and beverage would be an advantage). Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing techniques is preferred.
